Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Juga juga dhare' ceyechi tomáre
Pelum anek pare
Kii liilá tomár bujhe' ot́há bhár
Rekhechilo timire

Bhevechinu bhore sárádin dhare'
Káj kare' jábo nijeri jore
Dupur beláy jánále ámáy
Trńo krpáte naŕe

Tava karuńáy dhará ghure' jáy
Chay rtu áse meghe jal dey
Ákásh vátás sudhásáre cháy
Cetaná amrta bhare'

Jiṋán o karma dishá háráy
Tava carańer dhúlite lut́áy
Bhálabásá bháse amiya doláy
Madhu páy madhukare

O Lord, since ages, I have loved You,
but attained after much time.
What is Your divine play,
it is hard to understand,
why did You keep me in dark?
I was thinking that
the whole day since morning,
I would continue to work
at my own strength.
By noon, You made me realize
that even a blade of grass moves
with Your grace.
By Your mercy, the earth revolves,
the six seasons come
and the clouds rain water.
Into the sky and air,
essence of sweetness scatters,
filling the nectar of consciousness.
The wisdom and actions losing directions,
wallow at the dust of Your feet.
In the oscillations of the nectar,
love appears and the honey got the bee.
