Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mágheri sheśe vasanta ese'
Bale' gelo more
Ot́ho bandhu calo ámár sauṋge áj
Úśńa haoyáy ke je go bájáy
Diipak práńocchala
Eso morá dhari táke mana májh

Kishalaye háriye geche shuśka parńa dal
Vana nilaye hásiyáche kiḿshuka komal
E pariveshe priitir áveshe
Sájáy táke diye phulasáj

Báhir vishva rúpe bhará
Raibo kena duhkhe sárá
Sakal khushi háráno hási
Diye vari se rturáj

At the end of winter, spring came, and told me,
“ O brother, arise and come long with me today,
Who is playing overwhelmingly
the kindling melody through the warm wind?
Keeping that in the mind, come to me.
The tender leaves have been converted
into the bunch of dry matured leaves.
The soft kim'shuk flowers smile
in their abode in the forest.
In this environment, with the impulse of love,
decorate Him with the floral adornment”.
The external world is full of beauty,
why should I remain exhausted with sorrows?
With smile accumulating entire joy,
I would adore that festive spring.
